Worlds highest Post Office

Indian post not only opened its first floating Post office in Dal lake of Srinagar city but also boast of having the world’s highest post office. The worlds highest Post Office is located in small town of Hikkim, in Lahaul Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. It is located at height of 14567 feet and the pin code for this post office is 172114.

As of now the second highest post office in the world is also in Indian state of Sikkim at Sherathang, approx. 13,600 ft. The third and fourth places are Mount Fuji with 12290 feet and Jungfraujoch in Switzerland with 11333 feet.
